Felix Distel received the best paper award of the 8th International Conference on Formal Concept Analysis (ICFCA 2010) in Agadir, Morocco in March 2010 for his paper on 'Complexity of Enumerating Pseudo-Intents in the Lectic Order'.

Future Fellowship Award by the Australian Research Council

Prof. Michael Thielscher received the Future Fellowship Award by the Australian Research Council (ARC).

Award for Outstanding Paper with Student Author

Prof. Michael Thielscher received the Award for an Outstanding Paper with a Student Author (Hannes Straß) at the 9th International Symposium on Logical Formalizations of Commonsense Reasoning in Toronto, Canada in June 2009.

Best Paper Award in the Research Track of the ASWC 2008

Boontawee Suntisrivaraporn, Guilin Qi, Qiu Ji and Peter Haase received one of the three Best Paper Awards in the Research Track of the 3rd Asian Semantic Web Conference (ASWC 2008) in Bangkok, Thailand in February 2009 for their scientific contribution on 'A Modularization-based Approach to Finding All Justifications for OWL DL Entailments'.

Best Paper Award of the Medinfo 2007 Congress

Stefan Schulz, Boontawee Suntisrivaraporn and Prof. Franz Baader received one of the three Best Paper Awards (from 900 submissions and 300 presented papers) of the Medinfo 2007 Congress in Brisbane, Australia in August 2007 for their article 'SNOMED CT's Problem List: Ontologists' and Logicians' Therapy Suggestions'.

Best Paper Award of the German Conference on Artificial Intelligence

Prof. Franz Baader, Rafael Peñaloza and Boontawee Suntisrivaraporn have been nominated for the Best Paper Award of the German Conference on Artificial Intelligence (KI-2007) in September 2007 for their scientific contribution on Pinpointing in the Description Logic EL+.
