Course description:

The lecture gives an introduction into innovative web applications and -technologies. The major focus is on basic principles, but concrete standards, systems, and techniques such as Web 2.0, Ajax, OWL, Podcasts, Blogs, Wikis, Bittorrent etc. are also discussed. This way, the lecture shall enable students to understand, apply, and extend advanced internet and web applications.
